So You Think

So you think things are bad huh? So you think things aren't able to be fixed? So you think the bills are stacked too high? Did you know God created the Heavens and the Earth? Do you realize that means EVERY star you see at night? Do you realize that means EVERY living thing you see? God, the creator of EVERYTHING can't help with the bills?

So you think things are bad huh? So you think things aren't able to be fixed? So you think your marriage is beyond repair? Did you know God parted an ENTRIE sea? Do you realize that He did this so His people could escape certain death? God, the only one who can command the waters can't repair your marriage?

So you think think things are bad huh? So you think things aren't able to be fixed? So you think you'll never find another job? Do you know that God walked in the fiery furnace of Babylon with his servants so that not even their clothes were burned? Or that God tamed a wild lion from devouring Daniel? God, the only one who can tame the fires or a wild lion can't help you find another job?

So you think things are bad huh? So you think things aren't able to be fixed? So you think your kid will never turn away from doing wrong? Do you know that Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead? Do you realize that Lazarus had been dead for quite a while? Jesus, the only one who can raise the dead can't turn your kid from doing wrong?

So you think things are bad huh? So you think things aren't able to be fixed? So you think your life is such a train-wreck that God won't have you? So you think that you've committed so many sins in your life that God won't forgive you? Do you know that God sent Jesus, His only son to suffer and die on a cross, so that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life? God, the only one who would give up and suffer so much just so that we, sinners throughout, could find salvation and eternal life with Him. You think He won't have you? You think He won't forgive you?

Everyday we face problems in our lives. Some of these problems are small, while others seem completely overwhelming. There is nothing, I repeat nothing that God cannot handle, if we would just ask. He's waiting, will you take the step?
