THURSDAY'S: Face to Face with God

Face To Face Questions: Exodus 16:1-18
1. I love the Lord’s patience with us as we see time and time again with the Israelites, even when they grumbled. As we read about the grumblings of “hunger”, there are two very distinct characteristics of God seen in the beginning and throughout this section of passage. Can you name them?
2. We know throughout scripture, beginning with the foundation of the world and universe that our God is meticulous, and that He does everything to the measure. How was this seen in this passage and how does this characteristic impact your relationship with HIM?

Remember, to view the answers to yesterday's questions, you need to go to the comments from that day.

1. Patience, Provider, Protector...

2. He was very meticulous with how much each family was to collect of the manna as well as the quail and what to do with them. He did not just say to "go out". He told them what to do down to the detail. I love that my Lord is detailed. Boundaries are so important and knowing where they are as a child give me a sense of stability and safety as well as knowing that I am cared for.
