WEDNESDAY'S: Face to Face with God

Face To Face Questions: Exodus 12:1-30
1. The book of Exodus is an incredible book where we see God in action for the people He loves. It is amazing how long it took Egypt to finally let His people go. After many plagues, what was the final action that happened throughout Egypt that caused the Pharaoh to let God’s people go?

2. What was placed over the doors to keep the “destroyer” away? Do you see any parallel in your life today in what God has done for His people…for you?

Remember you can find the answers to the following days questions in that days comments.

THRIVE TODAY said...

1. 12 "On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD. 13 The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt.

2. Seen in verses 12 and 13 in the first question. The parallel is when Christ died on the cross...His blood was placed over us...giving us access to God! We deserve death....FOR ALL HAVE SINNED AND FALL SHORT OF THE GLORY OF GOD. But by His blood, OUR STRIPES ARE HEALED....covered. Accepting His gift of salvation, is His blood over us. When that takes place, when we give Him our life and accept the gift of dying on the cross for our sin, choose to follow HIM...WOW, satan no longer has reign over our lives.
