WALKING WITH JESUS Q’s Week: 4.19 – 4.24


MONDAY 4.19.2010: John 18:1-11
Why did Judas know where Jesus would be?
What happened when Jesus answered “I am he.”?
What are your thoughts regarding verse 9 and it’s meaning?

TUESDAY 4.20.2010: Luke 23:44-24:12
How did the people respond when they saw what took place?
When Jesus died and Joseph asked for his body, what time was it? What day was coming?
What command did they obey even upon the death of Jesus?
Who was amongst Joseph as he took Jesus body and put him in the tomb?
What do you think the significance was regarding the strips of clothing mentioned? In John it describes the face cloth as being “folded and placed aside…separate from the others.”

WEDNESDAY 4.21.2010: Hebrews 9:11-10:18
What a powerful passage. God’s covenant to HIS people….then and now. Was the first covenant put into effect without blood…a blood sacrifice?
What did Christ’s death, His sacrifice, His blood do?
Jesus is our mediator…share what verses 24-28 mean to you in regards to what Christ does for you?

THURSDAY 4.22.2010 Romans 1:18-32
What is listed as God’s invisible qualities seen by ALL mankind?
What has man decided to do, even though they know of God?
As we walk with Jesus, what can we do to keep from following the steps that other’s in mankind have?
Are there areas, as you read this passage, that stand out that you in your own daily walk that has caused distance in your walk with Jesus?

FRIDAY 4.23.2010 Romans 2:5-11
Does God show favoritism?
What does God make clear regarding our life walk with Him?
How will we be judged….those who are HIS FOLLOWERS? How does this impact your walk? What motive are we walking with Jesus…what motive do our actions reflect?

SATURDAY 4.24.2010 Romans 3:9-26
In this passage we read that there is no one who is righteous…not even one. Which means that there is no “good” person. What does verse 11 & 12 say? How does this impact your walk and thoughts? How do you share this with someone who is not a follower of Jesus, but believe that they are basically good? Does keeping the law make one righteous? Where does righteousness come from then?
Read verses 25 & 26 and share your thoughts regarding the powerful words and how they impact your walk with Jesus.
